everend Melvin Ware is a native of Montgomery, AL.  He is a high school graduate of the
Montgomery school systems.  He completed his college education from the University of Alabama
where he holds a bachelor in Accounting from the School of Business Administration. He is a
Master’s graduate of the Administrative and Services Institute of the University of Tennessee. He
is a graduate of Rhema Bible College, Tulsa, OK and also holds a Certificate of Theology from the
Interdenominational Theological Center, Atlanta, GA.  He is currently pursuing his Master’s of
Divinity from Luther Rice Seminary and College, Lithonia, GA.

His professional career spans 35 years as an employee of the Internal Revenue Service.  He is a
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with memberships in the Alabama Society of CPAs and the
American Institute of CPAs (AICPA).   

Rev. Ware enrolled in the army of Christ at an early age.  He was ordained as a deacon at the age
of 19 at the Old Elam Baptist Church in Montgomery, Al.  His ministry of service has taken him to
various churches in Alabama and Georgia where he has served in the capacities of Co-Pastor,
Associate Minister, Church Treasurer, Sunday School Superintendent, Teacher, Trustee, Choir
Member, Youth Ministry Leader and leader of various other ministries.  He has taught leadership
classes within the church and throughout America outside the church.

Currently he is the Senior Pastor of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Fayetteville GA.  He has
organized various outreach ministries to give back to the community.  His ministry includes a
deliberate effort to reach today’s youth.  

In the Community, he is a member of the Fayette NAACP Chapter.  He is a member of the Fayette
County Christian Fellowship (FCCF).  He is also the President of the Christian Association of
Public Theologians (CAPT).

He is married to the Rev. Judy Timmons Ware and is the father of three children, Brandice, Brian
and Sharamie and the grandfather of five, Omari, Bradyen, Alayna, Symone and Kameron.  He is
the great-grandfather of three: DJ, Kameron Jr. and Kayden.

His spiritual motto that guides his life is:

public school system and was among the first 12 students in Montgomery to
graduate from a former predominately white high school.  She received her
Bachelor of Arts degree from Troy State University and graduated from the
Interdenominational Theological Center  (ITC) in Atlanta.

Her career including being a classroom teacher, working in the Honolulu Passport
Agency, the Veterans Administration and the Internal Revenue Service where she
retired as a Program Analyst in October 2000.

Rev. J.T. was called to the ministry and licensed in November 2006 and was
ordained in November 2008.  She is also a member of the Fayette County
NAACP Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Certified Association of Public
Theologians (CAPT), and head of the Fayette County Women's Ministry.

She is the mother of two daughters (Sharamie and Brandice), grandmother of five
(Kameron, Kevan Symone, Alayna, Brayden and Omari), and great grandmother
of one grandson (Kameron, Jr).  Born as the 5th of nine children to the late
Rev. W.F. Timmons and Mrs. Louise Timmons, Rev. J.T. accepted Christ at the
age of 5 and has been faithful in the church all of her life.  She has served in
many areas of the Body of Christ including Sunday School Teacher, Leadership
Training Coordinator, Matrons President, Deaconess Ministry, Marriage Ministry
Coordinator, Church Secretary and Youth Advisor.  She presently finds joy
working as Camp Director during the MOBC Summer Camp Program.
